Adoption Process at Rose's Reptile Rescue

You will be assessed for suitability as part of that assessment you will be asked the following:  

 

Can you provide proof of intended accomodation and talk through the temperatures, light and humidity settings?

 

Can you discuss with us the dietary needs of the animal you wish to adopt?

 

Are you aware of the ongoing cost required to keep your new adopted pet?

 

Are you confident in handling and caring for your chosen pet?

 

Many exotics are long lived animals, have you plans in place for future care requirements?

Application
To begin the adoption process, interested individuals must fill out an application form. This form helps us understand your experience, housing situation, and commitment to caring for a reptile.

Adoption Fee
There is an adoption fee associated with each reptile to cover their care while at the rescue. The fee varies depending on the type of reptile and is used to support our ongoing rescue efforts.

Approval Process
Once the application is submitted, our team will review it to ensure that the potential adopter meets our requirements. This may include a home visit to ensure the environment is suitable for the reptile.

Animals ready for rehoming 

All our snakes are advertised as unsexed due to the breeding restrictions and terms and conditions of the adoption.

Nagini is a common boa constrictor.

Approx 10 years old. Very large snake will require an experienced home.

Eats well, good to handle, no known issues.

Dahlia is a Royal python. Approx 4-5 years old.

No known issues.

Adoption fee: £60

Kruga is a Royal python Approximately 13years old

No known issues

Adoption fee: £60

Lillith is a Royal python  Approximately 3years old.

Has been  known to be quite aggressive so will need experienced home, with regular handling.

Perdy. Common boa constrictor, approximately 11  years old. very large strong snake will need experienced home. Good to handle, eats well.

Abaddon is a Royal python Approximately 2 years old, very small for age, needs some encouragement with feeding at times, otherwise no known issues.

Shadow is a Royal python Approximately 2 years old, very small for age but eats well. No know issues.

Knox is a Royal python Approximately 2 years old. Very small for age. Needs encouragement to eat  on occasion. No known issues.

Cally is a common boa constrictor approx 9 years old. Came is with quite severe burns but has healed well. Eats well, handles well, no other known issues.

Adoption  fee £100

Clive crow is a Boa constrictor, approx 4 years. Eats well no know issues. Experienced home for larger snakes.

Luna is  a Boa constrictor approx 4 years old, needs experienced home for larger snakes. No known issues.
